What Are Nightly Notes?
- They're the opposite of Morning Pages.
- So they're written at night instead of first thing in the morning.
- They are typed instead of handwritten,
- They're public instead of private,
- They're guided by questions instead of flowing freely
- A completed entry consists of six questions and six answers instead of three pages
- Since they are public others are allowed to comment on them

It is 10:19 pm.
- who impressed me the most today? I impressed myself by finally, finally, finally focusing on the sheets. Yes, the sheets. I matched up sets (fitted, flat and 2 pillow cases). Neatly folded the individual pieces, put the fitted inside the flat and the pillow cases inside the fitted, rolled them military sock style, rubber banded the sets and placed them inside the old cedar chest left by the previous occupants of this house. It may sound like nothing - something people do all the time (pairing the sheets I mean - the rolling and banded might be a bit over much) but we usually wash, dry and throw the sheets into a big laundry basket. It's all part of a bigger issue
- what did I do all day? in addition to playing with the sheets I exercised for the second time this week - again impressing myself. (Is it normal to exhibit this much self-?? what's the SAT approved word? ). Anyway, I did the 30 minute belling dancing aerobic routein on the cable on demand "mag rack" channel. On demand programing is a very useful and interesting concept.
- when did I leave the house today? same morning thing then in until 4 pm
- where did I go today? went on a date with my daughter to the Louisville Visual Art Association's auction preview and Artist party. Bid on the relief print I donated
- why didn't I get more done today? easily distracted - another reason the sheet rolling was a miracle (according to A Course in Miracles miracles have no order of difficult or importance)
